ETGB is among the documents that companies making micro-exports must fill out. So, what is ETGB, how is it prepared, and what does it do? Read on to get the answers to your questions about the electronic commerce customs declaration.

What is ETGB?

ETGB is a document filled out to determine the tax and other obligations of trade transactions made from one country to another. Its full name is the Electronic Commerce Customs Declaration.

ETGB is used to accelerate and facilitate the customs processes of international commercial transactions. Products with an ETGB certificate are shipped abroad without being opened at customs.

What is the ETGB Registration Number?

The ETGB registration number is a number that expresses the validity of the declaration. This number is given to the declaration by customs officials. It is used to verify the validity of the ETGB and to obtain information regarding this declaration.

If a declaration with an electronic commerce customs declaration registration number has been filled out, this declaration is valid and can be used for customs procedures. It is located in the GÇB/ETGB no. section under the export Information section of the export operation slip.

How to Prepare ETGB?

The ETGB Export Information Form is prepared by filling it out online.

The declaration is made by carrier companies authorized on behalf of buyers and senders. With the ETGB (Electronic Commerce Customs Declaration) application, exporters making micro-scale exports are enabled to export and receive tax refunds by reducing their customs declaration and consultancy costs.

International cargo transport companies such as UPS, FedEx, TNT, and DHL are authorized to issue ETGB for import and export transactions. When quickly creating a shipping instruction on the Navlungo panel, the ETGB Export Information Form and Commercial Invoice (Proforma) are automatically generated in the background. By printing these documents, products can be easily dispatched within the scope of Micro Export.

How to Create an ETGB Declaration with Navlungo?

Navlungo can also request the ETGB document from the carrier company on your behalf. For this, you need to select "micro export" as the shipment type on the Navlungo panel, create your offer, and then submit your e-archive invoice. Following this, the ETGB declaration requested from the carrier company will be forwarded to you by Navlungo.

The proforma and ETGB export information form are automatically prepared on the Navlungo system. You only need to upload your e-archive invoice to the system. You can upload your e-archive invoice, prepared in Turkish without VAT and in the amount of the proforma, to the system with a stamp and signature.

When you send the products to our warehouse along with your documents, our warehouse staff will print out the proforma, ETGB export information form, and your invoice to carry out the dispatch process.
